English Meeting XII

"Let's share with others the benefits that we've gained for ourselves" Ralph Smedley, Toastmaters Founder.

Mark MacKay Avila was our Toastmaster of the evening on October, 13th. It was the first time he ever conducted a club session. He created a friendly and enigmatic environment where every member of our club had the opportunity to develop their English abilities in public speaking.
Also, members had fun by doing this kind of different and new meeting.
Speaking was a challenge, and Mark achieved a greater one: to take his roll as a leader.
CONGRATULATIONS!! Keep growing, Mark!! You're a great Toastmaster.

Selene Benítez Buendía was our enthusiastic and creative Table Topics Master. She prepared a fantastic presentation for Table Topics where every member could read the question and also she gave us a positive and powerful message by using humane and motivational topics. The word of the day was "KIND".
Selene, our your club is very proud of your by doing a well-prepared participation. Keep doing amazing things!

As your VP Education, I recomend you to read the August 2007 The Toastmaster Magazine article. It has good tips about talking fluidly in English. You can ask for this magazine in our club. THANKS.
